2023 International Annual Theme Award: The parallel worlds
International Annual Theme Award (I.A.T.A.) is one of Asia’s top art contests organized by Taiwan International Contemporary Artist Association. Combining I.A.T.A. with Art Revolution Taipei (A.R.T.), the most important platform of art exchange in Taiwan, Organizer will display artworks created by the most distinguished artist all over the world in order to promote individual artists to Asian market. The combined power of both of these unrivaled art outlets will result in more opportunities of sponsorship, exhibition and sale.

Art Theme: The parallel worlds. Focusing on mobile and video games, animations, anime etc. with artistic themes. Any form of expression or presentation is accepted.
“The parallel world” focuses on the strong sense of creativity and art within the artist. Based on this theme of creation, how would an artist show a different inner worlds from others? In the parallel worlds, there are so many variants for trees, stones, human beings and tools, thus becoming a challenge to an artist for creation and definition of the spread of the inner world. So the theme or title of the artwork represents a kind of structure, showing how much creativity an artist may hold, then by which the value of an artwork is determined.
Taking the brand “McDonald's” or “M” in our world as an example, which may be named similarly as “WcDonald's” or “W” in another world. These two subjects are opposite, inverted to each other, and both presentable. Hence, a subject being based on our world, could be shown as another and different look in another world, a parallel world. This series of work is created to present this creativity, bold and unrestricted, while rooted from an origin.
Eligibility: Open to all top artists over 18 years old
Finalists will be announced on the website on March 15, 2023..
Award:
Finalists: All accepted entries will be exhibited for sale in the A.R.T. 2023.
Championship: The juror will select ONE artist to participate in the International Artist Salon in A.R.T. 2024. X-Power Gallery will sponsor the winner to exhibit selected artworks in A.R.T. 2024 and the round-trip transportation fee of the artworks for shipping to Organizer and if unsold, returning back to the winner.
Gallery Award: The juror will select SOME artists to participate in the International Artist Salon in A.R.T. 2024. X-Power Gallery will sponsor the winners to exhibit selected artworks in A.R.T. 2024 and HALF of the round-trip transportation fee of the artworks for shipping to Organizer and if unsold, returning back to the winner.Award Ceremony and Exhibition:
All accepted artworks will be displayed during A.R.T. 2023, May. 5 to May. 8, 2023 (VIP night May. 4).
The organizer will announce the Award winners at the official website by August 31, 2023.
