A mother and daughters artist family from the Netherlands teamed up to exhibit in A.R.T. again this year. The mom especially arranged with her daughters’ school to take days off so that she and her husband, who is also their agent, can take them to Taiwan to participate in the art exhibition.
As soon as the family of four walked into the World Trade Center Hall 3, they were immediately spotted by the sharp-eyed staff to be asked to take photos with them and to have their signatures, which are things to be envied by those who were not present at that moment.
“Are these real apples?”
“It is real. You are not the first one to ask this question. Many people who ever came into this area will almost always ask the question, are these apples real, or artificial?”
“Haha! I did not expect apples to be so popular!”
The security of this area said that everything was okay except one thing to pay attention ~~ it was that the “Xiaofu Pigs” at the foot of “Dafu Pig” were so cute that the little kids could not help but touch this or that pieces…then, the “Xiaofu Pigs” were finally moved around.
The works in exhibit ranged from size 1 to size 100 ~~ On the left side of the entrance displayed the huge painting by Artist Wang Zhaoju, attracting people’s attention with an imposing manner.
Hidden somewhere in the exhibition site was a huge painting of size 1000, waiting for every guest to hunt the treasure.
Opposite the huge painting, all the way to the end of the walkway, were works selected from “The International Artist Grand Prize Competition.”
Award-winning artists can participate in the 10th Art Revolution Taipei in 2020, at the section of "International Artists Salon", and will receive a solo exhibition booth sponsored by the X-Power Gallery. The first prize winner and the gallery award winner can get free exhibition space~~ the highly competitive honors among many highly recognized artists.
In the section of the International Artist Grand Prize Competition, an exhibition staff helped a collector to fill out the information sheet. After a glance of the information, the staff was amazed simply by the coincidence that the collector had a same date of birth as hers. She immediately shook hands with the collector and heard the collector said, “You are the fourth person who I ever met to happen to have the same date of birth as mine!”
Madame Ambassador of Peru visited this section. The exhibiting artist Jian Kaicheng, who happened to be able to speak Spanish, conversed with Madame Ambassador on arts, or any other topics with no distance.
At last, Madame Ambassador took a fancy to the painting “Dandelion“ shown in the mobile phone. Coincidentally, on the arm of Madame Ambassador's secretary was tattooed with the design of Dandelion.
Malaysian artist Ong Xing-Ru, who raised a cat and put the cat into painting ~~ becoming the fashionable cat in the works.
Seeing someone taking a selfie in front of the white works, the exhibition staff quickly go forward to greet the visitor: "Do you like this painting?" "Oh, no, this white can just be a good background color for my clothes today~~" (laugh)
Teacher Ong Xing-Ru’s paintings impress people with the very ethereal feel of watercolor. The exhibition staff took the initiative to make the introduction: "Look! There are many animals and insects hidden in the green plants..." (How many do you recognize?)
Before the start of each day, the cleaning staff and maintenance personnel will all mobilize to make sure the environment is perfect, in order to provide the artists and the art-loving visitors a comfortable and clean space~~ Thanks for their hard work behind the scenes!
