Manuel López Herrera's painting is like a chronicle of the world seen from the festive shore. It portrays its characters, on colorful Being a biographical painter, my pieces are a reflection of personal events which have transpired as well as influences from those
backgrounds full of subtle transparency and glazes, filling them with importance, irony and enchantment by putting them in imaginary around me and the artists who have inspired me. I have been intrigued by many artists and have been correlated to Jean-Michel
but magical but possible situations. Basquiat, Keith Haring and Willem De Kooning. While I have a great respect and admiration for these artists, I also believe my work
is rooted in a more modern sensibility.
