A3 Artist Ong Xing Ru was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She received a fine arts education from Malaysian Institute of Art.

She now is a full-time artist. Inspired by story books and fairy tales from a young age, she selected animals especially cat to interpret
her works. The inspiration her paintings sprang from her outdoor sketching experiences in nature. Natural diverse sounds, colors,
scenery had stimulated her nerves to create.
