C6 Dutch painter Debora Makkus creates vibrant colours and depth in 40 to 50 (semi) transparent layers of paint. She creates

unconventional compositions and enhances reality by subtracting or adding details. Inspired by the old Dutch Masters she uses
dramatic clair obscur. Debora Makkus had over 20 museum exhibitions. She had the honour of winning the Public Choice Award in
Museum Gouda. Her work is part of many international collections.
