H1 － H16 Liu Jin-De, from the Taroko tribe, his indigenous name is "Sha Ren." He has been engaged in stone carving for 35 years. He began

studying art in Puli from Deng Lianhuai. The memory of hunting with his uncle in the mountains and hearing the legends of the tribe
became the source of his creation. Sha Ren's works are natural and pure, lines are simple and clean. Today Sha Ren is using his
carving knife to carve out the vitality of the Taroko culture.
Liu Jin-De 劉金德，太魯德族，族名為沙仁，從事石雕工作 35 年。為開啟藝術創作，作者特地前往埔里向鄧簾懷拜藝學習。回歸原鄉，跟隨舅舅

劉 金 德 b.1959 Taiwan 上山打獵，舅舅常對我講述部落的傳奇故事，那一段充滿著部落情感，成為今日劉金德的創作泉源。沙仁的作品自然純粹，線條簡潔俐
落。今日的沙仁，正在用他的雕刻刀鑿刻出太魯閣族的文化生命力。
