Yun Wei is a representational artist who uses traditional oil painting techniques in all of her work. Yun was born in 1976 in TianJin, I began my drawing career at 10 years old and have aleady drawn more than 40 years. I ever lost my way and feel down in 10 years

魏云是受到傳統繪畫訓練的藝術家，她所有作品中都使用傳統油畫技術。魏云 1976 年出生於中國天津。畢業於天津美術學院油畫專業 10 歲開始接觸畫畫至今，已有 40 年了，我曾在年輕的歲月裡黯然地度過了十年的失落期，像艘孤船在汪洋中飄盪，沒有方向的日子裡，
後，她開始在天津美術高中任教。從 2003 年到 2008 年，她在紐西蘭和澳大利亞的多家畫廊擔任專業藝術家。2008 年春季，她移居美國， 只有繪畫讓我覺得遠處是有光的。創作對我來說是一座燈塔，人生低潮的時刻，指引我心靈上的歸屬，不會在茫茫的海波浪中失去方向。
目前在加利福尼亞州洛杉磯擁有一家工作室。 當有一天消失在這個世界的時候，我還可以透過創作留下一點什麼。
