Mystery, weirdness, fantasy, and surrealism contrary to rationality constitute the first impression of Lu, Tung-Hsing's sculpture to the
viewer. He challenged the aesthetic experience of being accustomed to knowledge and theorization in the art circle. Lu, Tung-Hsing's
creation returned to the regional folk custom, which was different from the urban artistic trend, which is closer to the vitality of life
and cultural aesthetics.

感受直接的拉近到人類內在的慾望裡，相對於極為全球化西方體系與知識化理性論述的脈絡，呂東興的創作回歸到屬於地域性的民俗風
尚，有別於都市化的藝術潮流，具有更貼近生命的活力與文化美學。
