Dear friends, greetings to you!

On behalf of all the people of Taipei, it is my pleasure to sincerely welcome each of our distinguished
guests to our fair city.

Taipei is not only a cultured city with a deep and rich history – it also offers a wonderfully diverse
ecological landscape. Outside of your attendance at the 2023 Art Revolution Taipei, I cordially invite
you to take time to personally experience some of the city’s unique features and culture. Beyond the
world-renowned Taipei 101 tower and Grand Hotel, must-see attractions in the city’s core include the
diverse and exciting nightlife, night markets, 24-hour bookstores, spas, and multifarious themed bars,
providing the relaxation you need after your event gatherings.

Another of Taipei’s compelling attractions is that it is a “30-minute city.” Our transportation web is
deep and well-developed; in just 30 minutes you can be up in high-mountain Yangmingshan National
Park or on the coast enjoying sea views at Keelung City. The city is also a grand food emporium,
serving up all the iconic food delicacies from around Taiwan for you, and many of our eateries provide
Muslim-friendly and vegetarian service. And making your time in Taipei even easier is our forest of
24H chain convenience stores. Outside of your MICE activities, I heartily recommend you head out
on easy-travel local sightseeing outings. To experience how nature’s precious beauties are an intimate
part of daily living for Taipei, head to the teahouses amidst plantations in suburban Maokong for tea
tasting, to the Beitou hot-spring resort area for a soothing mineral soak, and even up to city-overlook
mountain peaks in Yangmingshan National Park.

I’d like to extend a special affirmation and thank-you to Taiwan International contemporary Artist
Association, for their dedicated efforts in facilitating the successful staging of this event in Taipei
City. And on behalf of the citizens of Taipei, I would like to extend the warmest of welcomes to you.
Taipei is an inclusive, cheerful, and charming city, and is sure to make your business trip both smooth
and pleasant.

We look forward to seeing you once again in Taipei in the future, and I wish you complete success
with the 2023 Art Revolution Taipei!
