Ong Xing Ru was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She received a fine arts education from the Malaysian Institute of Art.
Inspired by storybooks and fairy tales from a young age, she selected animals as the theme to interpret her works. Her sources of
inspiration are nature and her dreams. She became a professional artist after receiving the Malaysian Emerging Artist Award (MEAA) in
2013.
王欣茹來自馬來西亞吉隆坡，畢業於馬來西亞藝術學院純美術系。從小受到故事書和童話故事的啟發，她選擇動物與大自然作為主題來
詮釋她的作品，她的靈感源自於大自然和她的夢。2013 年獲得馬來西亞新銳藝術家獎（MEAA）後，她成為職業藝術家，之后陸續參與
了不同的聯展與個展。
