In this series of paintings, I developed the idea of the paths we choose during the long journey of our lives. As I painted, images
came to my mind of the beautiful, flower-filled fields of lavender in Provence, France, the almond trees that Caliph planted in the
mountains of Cordoba (Spain) for his beloved, and the delicate, red poppies of Girona (Catalonia). There are many different paths to
choose from.
